AAUG Meeting holds Apple macOS Pages Class

Welcome to “breakup” in Alaska. It’s been a historic winter.  I will be looking forward to the warmer weather and getting outdoors.

We are having a mac OS Pages class at our April Membership Meeting.  We have brought some first-rate Apple educators this year and this month will be no exception with bringing in a new trainer, Chita Hunter, to the meeting.  I’ve attended several of her training sessions and have truly enjoyed her classes.  This macOS Pages Class is a class you will want to attend.  I would encourage you to publicize this to your friends as this will be an excellent opportunity to see the quality of training available and what your annual dues go to support.

I am encouraged by our continual growth.  The success is no mistake. It’s taken a team of board members to make operations run smoothly.  From paying the bills to putting out the eNews.  Publicity is expensive and it’s a cost I would rather divert to getting quality presentations.  I would ask each of you to mention the meeting and invite a friend.  Even if the friend is out of town, Zoom Conference is available and will continue to be available.

WWDC2023 has been announced and will bring the new operating systems and potentially hardware.  So look for new announcements this spring and classes coming up in the early fall.

As a reminder, we have our AAUG website, akappleug.com, with news and updates and our Facebook Group.  There is also training sessions available from Dan’s Tutorials and my podcast https:/ /MacMinutes.blubrry.net.

We will be also holding a C&C on Saturday, April 29, 10 a.m.  Please feel free to invite your friends.

Best regards,

Jon
