A new edition of the iPad Mini has been announced in October bringing the availability of Apple Intelligence capability. Apple Intelligence is what I believe will be the “line in the sand” for future full capability of Apple applications.
We’ve already seen it with the latest Macs and has now the iPad Mini, iMac and Mac Mini. Those users without the new Apple Artificial Intelligence necessary hardware are soon being categorized as “vintage or obsolete”.
I envision future educational classes to have prerequisites for hardware with the latest accompanying software. This will be necessary to eliminate students being frustrated not being able to accomplish the tasks without realizing it’s the hardware they possess.
Look for this trend to continue in the coming hardware announcements and the full implementation of Apple Intelligence.

Podcasts become Mainstream Media
Over the several months we have seen the growing number of people using podcasts to publicize mainstream news, entertainment and events. For years, podcasting has been limited to the home and small media outlets through mainly an audio format. Now, with the growth to video and mainstream appeal a new buzz has come to the programming. For the majority, podcasts are free with the exception of the download. If interest exists, let me know and I will cover how to use this medium.
We are not approaching the holidays and would like to feature a group presentation with an idea for holiday gift giving to tech enthusiasts.
I wish you and you and your loved ones a happy holiday season!
